The Police Blotter

I thought it was time for some more police blotter action:

“…two motor vehicles were reported burglarized. Both had been unlocked. Approximately $3,327 worth of items, including $280 in cash, was taken.”

People – lock your car doors! And don’t leave in cash in them.

“A resident of…reported that at approximately 10 p.m. someone rang his doorbell, and when he answered it, no one was there. According to police, the victim feels the individual are local juveniles, and the incident has been turned over to the detectve bureau for follow-up.”

“a resident of…reorted that an individual had called him to ask him to buy a satellite dish and asked for his credit card number.”

We truly live in a scary, crime-ridden town.
