Being a tourist is dangerous

Never I thought I’d read about two boating accidents relating to tourist vessels on the same page of the paper. You might have heard about the first one – a Duck boat in Philadelphia that stalled in the Delaware River, only to be hit by a barge. Duck boat flips. Two foreign tourists dead. A DUCK boat!!!

And then a deadly boat crash near the Statue of Liberty.  A tour boat cut in front of another boat, which forced the other boat to veer away. Because of the wake, that driver couldn’t see a 17 foot boat anchored nearby. One death. And the tour boat that cut in front of the other boat? None other than a Shark speedboat – the same one we took a few weeks ago with the kids.

  1. that is very scary news. Also scary is the amount of accidents that happen on the SI ferry in recent years. A boat I used to take almost every day of my life.

  2. You look pretty happy for being a killer
