Newspaper quote of the day

These lines, from a NJ Star Ledger story on Halloween costume trends say it all:

This year’s hot Halloween costumes include ‘Jersey Shore’ outfits. They’re popular everywhere except, well, New Jersey. Snooki and the Situation have been slow sellers at the State Fair in Belleville, a Halloween costume superstore open for 20 years. Owner Al Dorso says many State Shoppers already have tight dresses, tank tops and Bumpits in their wardrobe.

“People can just go and take anything out of their closet,” Dorso explains. “It’s what they’re wearing anyway. Half of our customers come in looking like them. It’s funny because we’re saying, it would be hot here too, if they weren’t already dressed like that.'”
