The trade show

School is already over, but I thought I’d show you what the 4th grade did at the end of the year. As part of their lesson, they each were assigned a state to research and represent. Dori got Maine. The kids had to make a brochure and dress up like they were from the state (or with things representing the state). For an hour, parents circulated around the room asking the kids questions about their state, while the kids tried to convince us to go there.

Basically, the kids learned a useful skill:  how to work a trade show.
