In case you’re wondering

…how we spent our time today while 8 inches of snow fell from the sky

Zack made waffles by himself...and cleaned up (though he was forced to do the latter part)

Dori made two batches of brownies (no photo – sorry!) – one for us and one for this wonderful neighbor below.

Our neighbor came through twice with his snow blower, clearing our sidewalk, front walkway, and driveway. He does this anytime it snows and he's home. For this we gave him brownies (and our thanks).

Later another neighbor helped snowblow out the snow next to our cars. Normally we won’t park them in the street on a snow day (plows come), but I’m worried about nails from the reroofing.

And now for some pretty pictures of the wet, heavy snow.

Not yet 8"

Not yet 8″ – this was around 3;00. Snow kept falling.

We're so glad we didn't lose power. This is one of our lines leading from the house.

  1. great photos! beautiful snow! caring neighbor! Zack making waffles and Dori making brownies! What more could you ask for? Enjoy. Have you put bird seed in your bird house as encouragement for them to use it?

  2. Awesome Debbie!

Dori looks totally like a You now – time flies so fast. So pretty and almost a teen. Stay warm everyone!

    • Eudora – I so don’t see the resemblance! But yes, very pretty and getting very close to 13! Scary.

  3. I was wondering if 8″ roofing nails could be used for the snowman’s…Nose?
